Columbia River Crossing: At Least SOMEONE Wants The Peoples’ Input

Even though Vancouver’s Mayor and other folks in power don’t want you to vote on the $10 billion dollar Columbia River Crossing, Jaime Hererra Beutler is willing to listen to what you have to say. Who knows? It could make a difference if not an interesting optic.

She’s hoping you’ll send back the flyers she’s mailing to make at least make a visible statement to those who want to silence those who are actually paying for the bridge.

I see here that The Columbian is very concerned about costs. Not of the bridge. Of this:

To return it to her Washington, D.C., office, residents must attach their own 44-cent stamp.

If only they were as concerned with the light rail bridge costs as they are about that stamp…
