After Porkulus, stimulus, budget, non emergency budget, TARPS I and II, we’ll be socked with more debt than our country has ever undertaken. Most of this money is going for projects that our government has never seen fit to fund before. Don’t get me wrong, some of this money will do some good, but before you do the victory lap, remember this: Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare payments will start being paid to the baby boomers by 2017. That means those taxpayers won’t be paying into the system anymore; they’ll be taking from it. And we have no money in our collective federal savings account to pay for it. And then, look here at the Heritage Foundation graph. Look at how much the Energy taxes will cost. Sombody’s gonna have to pay them. That somebody is you:
