American Hostage Hikers Say Gitmo to Blame for their Jailing

The Iranian “hikers” say it’s America’s fault they were taken hostage.

From the mouths of ignorant babes:

The only explanation for our prolonged detention is the 32 years of mutual hostility between America and Iran,” Bauer said. “The irony is that (fellow once-detained hikers) Sarah (Shourd), Josh (Fattal) and I oppose U.S. policies towards Iran, which perpetuate this hostility.”

He added that he believes that reports of abuses and poor conditions in CIA-run prisons, prisons inside the United States and at the military detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, “provide an excuse for other governments, including the government of Iran, to act in kind.

I know that the prison at Gitmo was opened after 9/11/01, but I’m sure the Nostradamus-like foresight of these clever remote-viewing Islamists revealed the future Gitmo to them and was what  impelled them to take hostages in 1979. And again in 1984 by its satellite organization Hezbollah. And again in 1985. The Khobar Towers bombing in 1996 must have been due to Gitmo.

I’m sure Gitmo was responsible for the embassy bombings and for helping the 9/11 hijackers.  As Thomas Joscelyn notes short book called Iran’s Proxy War Against America:

The 9/11 Commission established that the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania were the work of Hezbollah-trained al-Qaeda operatives. There are disturbing signs that may implicate Iran in, at the very least, facilitating travel for some of the 9/11 hijackers. Finally, there is extensive evidence that Iran aided al-Qaeda’s retreat from Afghanistan in late 2001 and has allowed al-Qaeda agents to operate from Iranian soil ever since.

If we would only just understand why they hate us maybe we could solve the animosities between our nations. I’ll bet if we closed Gitmo tomorrow all radical Muslims would love us.

Do you know what? I think if we just closed prisons and let out misunderstood bad guys there would never be any crime again, either. It’s absolute genius! It’s all so clear to me now!

I might add parenthetically that these American hostages look especially thin. The mistreated Gitmo “political” prisoners have gained an AVERAGE of 20 pounds. Oh, and they get visits from attorneys and are given their prayer apparatus.
