NAACP Uses "Crash the Tea Party" Drones to "Prove" Racism in Tea Party

From Big Government and Pajamas Media here.

Do you remember the abortive “Crash the Tea Party” movement? It was the brainchild of a liberal that explicitly called for progressives to commit fraud in order to attempt to discredit the Tea Party protests.
At Pajamas Media we covered the abortive effort extensively, and made note of the very real bigotry the Crashers unwittingly revealed… in themselves.

Of course we here at the Oregon Tea Party and at VictoriaTaft.com (here, here, here) brought you chapter and verse of Jason Levin, the CONESTOGA MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER who spearheaded a similar effort in Portland and around the country with his hate filled and racist inspired rantings at others’ and his own Crash the Tea Party website.
Well blow me down, look at some of those signs in this vile video. Shazzam! They’re from the Crash the Tea Party website! And lookie at that guy who claims he’s a racist? He was a Tea Party crasher who was escorted away.

More from Big Government and Pajamas Media on this video:

Typical of the kind of dishonest effort Think Progress produces, the video heavily edits clips so that you have no idea what the context of a statement is or precisely what someone they’ve edited is trying to say.
Worse, the video “liberally” makes use of counter Tea Party protesters and infiltrators, including “Crash the Tea Party” drones, in order to fabricate their view.
The guy who claims “I’m a proud racist, I white” was actually driven out of the Tea Party protest he attempted to infiltrate.
Nice work, Think Progress!
Seconds later, Think Progress stitches together a series of posters they claim belong to Tea Party protesters.
Really, Think Progress?
Did you not think we’d remember the amusing signs your fellow liberals created for their little abortive “Crash the Tea Party” stunt in Boston? Let’s just say that some were more amusingothers, and some just showed pathetic and angry progressives often are. than
There is an old saying that you’re entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.
At Think Progress, they’re ready to make up the “facts,” yet again.

Financial Overhaul: Regulator Wet Dream by Pete the Banker

 by Pete the Banker
Referring to the Restoring American Financial Stability Act, Senator Dick Durbin asserts that the bill “substantially reduces the risk the financial markets will cause the economy to implode again…”. Full Article at FOX Business
The Bill does alter the Financial landscape significantly forming the Financial Stability Oversight Council, headed up by the Treasury Secretary, the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection housed in the Federal Reserve, expands the power and reach of the SEC, mandates removal of third party proprietary trading from the Banks, provides an liquidation process for “imperiled Too Big To Fail” Financial Institutions, and reemphasizes the Federal commitment to lower income individuals to gain access to the financial system.
However the Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010 simply establishes a Regulatory Dream World which not only doesn’t reduce the risk of a future financial market and economic implosion, but by largely failing to deal properly with the Housing & Housing Finance crises, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and International Banking and Accounting Standards contributing to the original crisis; largely assures the likelihood that they will recur.

Tom Holce, RIP. What Oregon SHOULD Learn From His Business Life

From the Zero today on a giant of Oregon industry and why these kinds of stories will become fewer and fewer because the lack of venture capital in this state. Entrepreneurs and businessmen are sitting on $2 trillion in the US because they don’t trust the Obama Administration and democrats with their finances.

“Tom Holce founded a company called Mikros Inc. in 1961 with colleagues from Electro Scientific Industries, then sold the business in 1964.

Six years later Holce started Kentrox, a groundbreaking Oregon tech company that made electronics equipment for the telecommunications industry. He sold Kentrox in 1973 and while that deal made his fortune, his level of activity only increased.

In 1995 Holce was chairman of a small tech company called Decision Point Systems, later called Unicru, that was strapped for cash and lacked a direction.

He hired Bob DeKoning as CEO and together they hashed out a business plan and strategy to raise money to rescue the company. Over several months, DeKoning recalled Wednesday, Holce drilled him as they prepared a key presentation for Holce’s investor friends. With Holce’s mentorship, DeKoning said, he delivered just what they wanted to hear.

“In a one-hour presentation I was able to raise $1.8 million to get Unicru funded and off the ground,” DeKoning said. “He coached me all the way through it and filled up a room.”

Ten years later Unicru — whose technology helped retailers screen prospective employees — sold itself to a Massachusetts company for $150 million, among the biggest deals of its kind in Oregon’s recent history.

The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network named its annual awards dinner for Holce, who accumulated scores of additional business and philosophic honors.”

Tom Holce was also a loving grandfather to my friend’s kids. He will be missed in many, many ways in Oregon. Oregon business and elected officials should take note of his contribution and his example.
