Commander and Chief Skips Memorial Day Services So We Won’t. Here’s One Suggested Memorial Day Activity.

Back by popular, Veteran, demand!

Please join us for the 2nd annual Not In Vain event commemorating Memorial Day. Open to the public, the Not In Vain II Memorial Day event is an afternoon for Veterans, current military and the community to honor the memories and service of our American military. The event will feature inspiring speakers, patriotic music, interesting displays, children’s activities/games and mingling!

Please bring donation items for our Veterans and deployed Troops. Suggested items include: eye drops, hand sanitizer, babywipes, lip balm, pocket-size snacks, personal-size hygiene items, etc.

Date: Monday, May 31, 2010
Formal program: 5PM
Pre-event activities: 3 – 5PM

Bring-your-own picnic; children’s games/activities; music; interesting displays and patriotic mingling!

Location: Shute Park – Performance Stage – Hillsboro, Oregon
