The Constitutional Right To Health Care

I found it in the Consitution.

Article 42 [Health]

(1) Citizens… have the right to health protection.
(2) This right is ensured by free, qualified medical care provided by state health institutions; by extension of the network of therapeutic and health-building institutions; by the development and improvement of safety and hygiene in industry; by carrying out broad prophylactic measures; by measures to improve the environment; by special care for the health of the rising generation, including prohibition of child labor, excluding the work done by children as part of the school curriculum; and by developing research to prevent and reduce the incidence of disease and ensure citizens a long and active life.

America’s New "Intolerable Acts." The Second Revolution Begins

Heritage:

My fellow citizens, the acts which we have just witnessed are today’s Intolerable Acts. What has happened in substance and in process must not stand. It violates our constitution, our first principles, our basic rights and the very rule of law. With you, the American people, we will see that this will not stand.

Baird Says He’ll Vote Yes.

He thinks the Senate bill will change health care. It will not. See part of his statement after the jump

There is no question in my mind that our current health care system cannot be sustained and must be improved. Because of my background as a health care professional, working for more than twenty years before entering Congress, having focused extensively on health care during my time in Congress, as a parent of two young children, and as someone who has listened to countless constituents and groups from across the professional, patient and political spectrum, there’s no other issue before Congress that has received as much of my personal attention and effort.

Sam Adams Recall Effort to Start Using Paid Signature Gatherers. Finally.

RecallSamAdams.com. A news release today from the head of the recall effort, Avel Gordly, says the campaign has received more money to afford paid signature gatherers.
But they don’t say how much they’ve received.

“The new funds will jumpstart the Recall Campaign with this critical part of our campaign plan,” Gordly said.
“Even though we have less than a month to get enough signatures, we have a comprehensive plan of volunteer and paid signature gatherers and targeted mail to put Portland’s future before Portland voters,” Gordly added.
Gordly also announced the Recall Campaign already has 10,000 signatures of the 32,000 it needs.

10,000 signatures? That’s it? They had more money out of the gate than Jaysun Wurster’s campaign and he nearly made the signature count with volunteers. To get the 32,000 good signatures, they have to get at least 40,000 signatures. Let the games begin. I wish them well. How can you not sign a petition to recall a man who stalked, groomed, and then had sex with a teenager when he was in his 40’s?
