Isn’t it time for him to go home yet?

After hearing just how smitten all of Europe is with the O’s, imagine my surprise to look into the UK Telegraph and see the article, Barack Obama really does go on a bit with the very first sentence of, “Isn’t it time for him to go home yet?

The author, Iain Martin asks, “am I alone in finding him increasingly to be something of a bore?

Focusing on the self-absorption of the O, Mr. Martin said,

But Obama was only warming up. “When I was born,” (Everything usually leads back to him, you’ll notice)… “the world was divided, and our nations were faced with very different circumstances. Few people would have predicted that someone like me would one day become an American President.” (Him again)…

He ends with,

“The Obamas have handled their trip well and in their public appearances have been a credit to their country. But I’ll wager that within a year or so he’ll be marked down as a wind-bag.”

Mr. Martin, nearly half of America knew this long ago. Sure wish you all would have listened to us then.

Be sure to check out the comments from other Brits.

Democrats Block Military Votes In Another Close Election

By now it is no secret that during real close elections, the Military’s Absentee ballots become the subject of scorn to Democrats, since Military members are known to usually favor Republicans.

We saw it in 2000 in the close race between Al Gore and George W. Bush in the Florida recounts.

It was seen again in 2004 in Georgia.

Now, Democrats are once again denying our Troops their right to have their votes counted in the tie between Democrat Scott Murphy and Republican Tim Tedisco in New York’s 20th District.

Apparently, the O’s September 2007 campaign promise of, “we’ll have a Voting Rights Section that actually defends the right of every American to vote without deception or intimidation” doesn’t apply to our Troops overseas defending us.

N Korea Launches Rocket. World Waits For Obama’s "Stern" Response

As announced, North Korea has launched the rocket they claim is sending a satellite into orbit.

Report here

Japan had indicated earlier they would shoot it down, but did not do so.

Barack Obama issued a statement earlier warning of a “Stern response” should North Korea launch the rocket, which many suspect is actually an Intercontinental Ballistic Missle capable of reaching the U.S.

Washington Post report here

I guess Kim Jung Il won’t be receiving his IPod now.

Is this the International testing Biden said would happen?

UPDATE: The O’s “stern” message to North Korea was delivered in Prague today. B HO “commited the U.S. to take the lead in reducing its nuclear-weapons stockpile…” while recognizing others right to pursue nuclear technology. Reprising the tired campaign slogan, “Yes, we can,” the O said, “his administration was committed to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.”

So, we reduce and rid our stockpile while he *HOPES* others follow suit.

Boy, that’s a “strong message” for sure.
