Gordon Smith Comes Out Swinging

Claiming attacks from Democrat rivals, GOP Senator Gordon Smith has retaliated with his own attacks against Oregon House Speaker Jeff Merkley and Portland activist Steve Novick.

The Oregonian

Does this indicate he is moving back to the right, or is he stumping for votes?

Haven't we been down this road before? Will he submit to another interview by our gracious host? VictoriaTaft.com. Senator Smith Writes Democrat Anti-War Bill. Where's Gordon? With Ron Voting For Illegal Amnesty

Just who is he directing the attacks at? Is it to split the Democrat voters? Or, does he expect mass GOP voter support?

To answer your last question Victoria, he's probably somewhere in between,
A good Moderate. Sounds like Gordon Knows what he's up against.
Gordon Victoria's phone # is 1-877-774-KPAM. Hope you call into lots of Talk Radio.

PS: I don't remember writing that
post back in Jan. 2007. Man Time Flies!
But I enjoyed Bears Joke.

Ok, so Republicans are urged to change party affiliation, so that they can "mess with" the democratic party candidates.

But this means they can not even vote AGAINST Gordon Smith in the primary.

I figured that the primary would be his challenge.
He has the moderates.

(I think he may be the only Republican I have ever voted for more than once.)

The guy needs to go, we need a real conservative in the Senate protecting our values. I think we should keep our ballots on the general election since NOONE serves our interests....

cnskate,

I think that a "none of the above" should be an option.
I think that we should be able to vote to just vacate the office, until a worthy candidate is found.

However, if the Republican candidate turns out to be Gordon Smith, and there was an alternative (which I believe there is); all of those who choose to NOT vote for the alternative, deserve what they get.

CNSKATE: Whats a Real Conservative to you?
The History of Oregon has always shown to be a
Moderate State and the last time a Conservative
from Oregon held a US Senate Seat was
before I was born.
