Yea General Petraeus baffle's the heck out of the Left.

A complete disregard for the Commanders on the ground is right.
Gen. Petraeus was put in front of Congress more as a sacrificial offering, or as a decoy to distract and prevent questions from being asked of those who are really responsible. Like throwing down a glove when a bear is chasing you: "Here, talk to these guys for a while; they'll pile military jargon and semantics on top of excuse making until you're thoroughly spun. It will take you a day or two to decipher it all, and fish out all the contradictions. By then we'll be onto some other story. Mission Accomplished."
So... General Petraeus is a distraction throwing out military jargon to obfuscate the truth. MoveOn.org was better than this... at least they came right out and called David Patraeus a betrayer rather than dismissing him as a mere distraction.
