Voter Registration Switch. Time Those Registrations to Drop on April 1st.

Many folks have informed me that they've ALREADY switched their party affiliation to Democrat, but I'm simply asking that you wait to do it on April 1st to make a little bit of a blip. It serves a dual purpose. First it makes a bit of a point for sport and then, after that, of course, allows our votes to count for something. Do Gordon Smith and John McCain really need our votes in the primary? (5th CD voters you stay with R affiliation). No. So why not make your vote count, extend the the primary season (on to Puerto Rico!) and allow the D's to further vet their candidates.
An alert 5th Listener says that he went to Victoria's page at KPAM.COM and got two copies of his voter registration (go here for yours) so that he could change his party affiliation right back after the May 20th Oregon Primary.Good thinking.
I was looking on a search engine this morning for links to the new, national AP story coming out today on this effort (and apparently mentioning me) and when I plugged in my search terms you'll never guess what Google spit out. See here for a laugh.

Slightly Funny.
Especially in the context, which Google can not possibly know.

I wonder if the person who drew the line between districts 4 and 5 was high on some sort of drug, or used one of those crazy pens or something.

Klatu said: Yes eileen he was and probably still is on drugs. His name is Bill Bradbury The SOS (Pictured right), the person I hand delivered my Democrat registration card to in person two weeks ago.

Klatu,
You didn't wait for April Fools day?
Why not.

I had never before realized just how ridiculously jagged that line, between districts 4 and 5 really was.
But I guess I should have known who determined them.

Oh well, crap like this "operation chaos" just turns people like me off and drives us further away from thinking it makes any sense to really do anything about the whole political process.

Whats the matter eileen Billy Bradbury force you to have one foot in district 4 and the other foot in district 5? Don't worry he will be replaced soon by a republican competent to be the SOS.

Eileen I HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OPEN PRIMARIES check the (GT poll) right now, scroll down.
Besides hating open primaries I hate "same day registration" which many NE States have.
These two factors are partly why us Republicans have John McCain.

The state of Washington has its 2 top tier crap, even WORSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Since most Republicans got Screwed in the early primaries mainly by people who are not Republicans, were screwing you all back "OPERATION CHAOS" for doing it to us. And were not hiding operation chaos like Liberals did to us earlier in the year. To Bad.

Remedy NO CAUCUSES, KEEP PRIMARIES CLOSED and no same day registration for all 50 states. Maybe one same day National Primary for Political Party's (with restrictions) and One Election day.

I bet you guys think I am a Democrat.

There is an idea floating around, that would arrange congressional districts based on same beliefs instead of where a person lives.
But I can not remember where I read the idea.
But I thought it was a really good idea.

While I may seem confused, I am open to considering logic that contradicts what I already believe to be the truth.
(logic, not to be confused with illogical ranting).
