Even if, as claimed by the Representatives, they had no idea who was funding their trip, they have left themselves looking like useful fools to be used by our enemies.

No doubt if they were Republicans the headlines would be screaming for resignations or impeachment!

Will Pelosi launch a COngressional Investigation into this misuse of Democrat Representatives? Somehow, I doubt it.

As for the captioning, how about;

"You know, Jim, this might make a real good location for the next DNC National Convention.

Saddam Hussein Paid for Democrat Lawmakers' Iraq Trip

Kind of a footnote in the book of shame that is the history of the Iraq War/Occupation.

BEAR said...

Hey, iago, traitors openly undermining our Country while in the pay of our enemies is hardly a "footnote," unless you, like the democrat party, agree with the traitors.

After 5 years the majority of Americans know who the real traitors are.

Klatu said...

The real TRAITORS are Democrat Hanoi Jane (pictured right) Democrat Rep.Baghdad Jim McDermott of Washington, Democrat David Bonior of Michigan and Democrat Mike Thompson of California.

iago, the vast majority of us have known for decades who the "real traitors" are.

Yeah, I am glad these three fools aren't running for President. Lord knows, John "Manchurian Candidate" McCain is more than enough traitor for the Democrat and Repubic Parties to handle.

What could Bagdad McDermont have said in those meetings with the Iraqis? Man, if only we knew.

We do know what McCain said to the VC: (This one from my friend over at News with Views-- http://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd59.htm

The following is McCain's own admission of collaboration in an article he wrote, printed May 14, 1973 in U.S. News and World Report:

"I think it was on the fourth day [after being shot down] that two guards came in, instead of one. One of them pulled back the blanket to show the other guard my injury. I looked at my knee. It was about the size, shape and color of a football. I remembered that when I was a flying instructor a fellow had ejected from his plane and broken his thigh. He had gone into shock, the blood had pooled in his leg, and he died, which came as quite a surprise to us - a man dying of a broken leg. Then I realized that a very similar thing was happening to me.

"When I saw it, I said to the guard, `O.K., get the officer.'"

"An officer came in after a few minutes. It was the man that we came to know very well as "The Bug." He was a psychotic torturer, one of the worst fiends that we had to deal with. I said, `O.K., I'll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital.'"

It appears to me that Abel is already infected with MDS (McCain Derangement Syndrome), before he is even elected.

Hey Abel, look around you. Most of us aren't too happy with McCain either, but you lefties manipulated our primaries through your media and switching parties, so we are stuck.

Operation Chaos is coming home to roost.

Blame McCain on the Lefties, I think you should Not,
Is the Right really that wimp, asks the Fish in the Pot.

Did the Lefties switch parties, and vote for McCain,
Or did the Right vote him in, and now need someone to blame?

Hey, Eileen, yes, the dems and independents DID crossover in significant numbers. The rino mccain actually thanked them for doing just that in a speech early in march, or after super tuesday. I've forgotten which. He left out any gratitude for Conservatives, since he had already rejected our support. No problem, as I would never vote for a rino anyway. We're not blaming the dems, just acknowledging their hypocrisy when they complain about "Operation Chaos."

Open Primaries are the spawn of liberals, intended to pollute our elections. It's working just fine. The libs are the ones doing all the whining, and threatening to "indict" Conservative crossovers. Boo Hoo.

BTW, they have just found out that they can't legally demand to know who I vote(d) for or why. Boo-FLIPPIN'-Hoo!! If democrat party members were forced to sign any loyalty oath to something good, they'd ALL be subject to perjury and arrest.

Great,
Win at all cost.
Bad leadership is a pretty high cost isn't it?
But that is going to be (or already is) the result.

And the Right is complaining, right here on this blog, blaming the left for McCain.

There are still Ron Paul signs up in my neighborhood.

Eileen, if you haven't figured it out yet, there are no good choices in this coming election. Once again, we will be left with poor choices in choosing the lesser of two evils.

As for the left towards McCain, when was the last time you read of the major media sources endorsing a Republican candidate? Nearly all of them endorsed McCain this time.

Ask yourself, why would a left leaning author pen John McCain Sells His Soul to the Right is John McCain is already with the right?

Democratic Underground adds their two cents as to why they believe Hillary wants to help McCain win the nomination.
