Sam Pulls a Fast One: Car Tax Not on City Council Agenda Tomorrow.

He promised it would be referred to a ballot for your vote at the Feb 27th meeting. Here's the agenda. It's not there. **UPDATE**There IS resolution on the agenda for the City Council to back him up on whatever he decides to do about it LATER. He said it would be a resolution or referral TO THE BALLOT. Not a STUDY. Please. He's buying time and hiding behind his so called "Stakeholder" Committee.

This is what I hate about political jokes. Sometimes they get elected.

If the people of Portland get it through their collective heads that Sam is going to continue to b.s. them into believing what he says and then doing the opposite, he will have just killed his chances for the mayor job. Mr. Dozono surely will do much better and hopefully won't lie to or b.s. the citizens of Portland.

And for the rest of the Council, Tommy the Immune and his toadies will follow Sam's lead here.

Also, the main reason Sam Adams went back on his word about putting this tax on the ballot is that he knows that it is extremely likely that it would be overwhelmingly rejected and he can't have that.

And I still say that his chances of being mayor went into the dumper because of this deception that clearly shows his untrustworthiness.

Of course, he learned this deceptiveness at the feet of Vera Katzenjammer and Tommy the Immune.
