Legislature Gone Wild: Washington's Proposed Geoduck Tax

I've mentioned it on the air a few times, but I was telling Mike Reitz of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation about this so he could add it to their "Stupid Bills List." I figured that as long as I was sending this to him, I'd pass it along to you. By the way, this Maralyn Chase (contact info below) hasn't met a tax she hasn't liked this session.
By FY 2017, this Geoduck Tax will cost Washington Taxpayers $78 597,000.00
And who's in favor of this?

Rep Maralyn Chase, D, Shoreline: Chase.Maralyn@leg.wa.gov
Rep Sherry Appleton, D, Poulsbo, Appleton.Sherry@leg.wa.gov
Rep Tom Campbell, R, Spanaway, Campbell.Tom@leg.wa.gov

Thanks fort the link to the Evergreen Freedom Foundation. I have to say I an a little confused though. Are we supposed to be anti-union or pro- sex trafficking?

I'm sorry, Jim?
YOu poor thing: take two common sense pills and stop trolling in the morning.
Night, night.

You are absolutely right, Victoria! Workers should not be allowed to organize to demand any rights because that is an impediment to free enterprise. And we as republicans believe free enterprise is above all most important (just like the fur business!) I mean if it wasn't for unions, there would be no minimum wage! Wouldn't that be "true capitalism"!? I want to make the most money possible, and If I pay people the least amount I can get away with--You said it--The more money for MEE! Damn Unions, they just make it hard on us "real people". So its not two faced at all to give a crap about sex workers--They probably make more than minimum wage anyway!
