What exactly is your point? Under Clinton, the United States had a projected federal budget surplus for the first time since 1969. He ended his presidential career with a 65% approval rating, the highest end-of-term approval rating of any President since Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Man in my opinion these figures prove that its better and Cheaper to live with a Republican in the White House if your single and make 30K or so and now I see why so many married couples divorced near the end of the year in the past so that they could escape the Marrige Penalty of Filing Jointly. The Democrats hit the Middle Class very hard in the Pocket book. Stay away from Hillary or Hussein Obama Folks.
Ps: Get rid of the Income Tax-IRS Folks. Go to some kind of National Sales Tax.
If I could pay the previous tax rate to live the way I did under Clinton (quality of life, a sense that the world didn't hate us, etc.), I'd do it in a heartbeat.
In fact, I'd pay 50% of my income to go back in time and erase the past eight years. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Well, hard cheese, since the surpluses were supplied by the REPUBLICAN MAJORITY CONGRESS, and the REAGAN TAX CUTS, no wonder clinton looked good. Everyone in my family is far better off now than at any time in the past, including the sixties.
And, iknowhowtospell, in case you are too dumb to remember, you can pay any amount of taxes you want over that required by law. Please do. And just so you can update your math skills, you are actually paying OVER 50% of your income NOW, including all the property taxes, corporate taxes, fees, licenses, registrations and other taxes you pay.

Nope. Re-read it. I said I'd pay 50% IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME to erase the last eight years, I'd do it. If you have a time machine, I'll write you a check. The current administration's war machine won't be funded by my extra money, that's for sure.

Was Bill Clinton a perfect President? No, far from it. But under his leadership, I felt better. I felt that the world was a safer place to travel. I felt the economy was bustling along nicely. I felt that we were headed in the right direction.
Yes, there were problems. I certainly don't need a checklist. But to compare the Clinton years and the Bush years? Not even close.
Bush has abused so many laws, our civil liberties, etc. He doesn't believe in science. We're going backwards in so many ways.
Given the choice of two, I'd absolutely pick the Clinton years again. No hesitation.

Feeling good can be very deceptive. If you were to get into a pot of warm water it feels gooooood. When they turn up the heat and you do not notice it,and the water starts to boil,well do I even have to go on.
Wake up there are alarge number of people that want us , thats you and me dead!!!!!!! and they will use any means possible.
I would much rather spend my money the way I see fit rather than how some politicition sees fit. I would rather take responsibility for my actions than let the goverment take responsability !
