**Update: They are Day Laborers and Accused Murderers.

*Clackamas County officials tell the Victoria Taft Show that these two are day laborers just ("just doing jobs Americans won't do").
So this whole Shrine to Crime Day Labor site that Tom Potter's so intent on building for illegal aliens should be in trouble--PR wise---but probably won't be. They don't care much about LEGAL, taxpaying citizens.
But one was already on probation for DUI. Surprise! Why wasn't he in the deportation process? Do county officials, judges, police, and sheriffs just wait until the crime is heinous enough to warrant deportation?
Is it any surprise that illegal immigrants commit a disproportionate amount of crime versus their number in the population?

Who DOESN'T know that? Don't they know that they commit a disproportionate amount of the sexual crimes as well?

And now this 15 year old girl is dead. And two illegal alien men from Mexico are charged with her murder.
They're 24 and 23. What would they be doing going after a 15 year old? Remember when the Mexican consul called for understanding because it was normal for 20-something men to go after younger girls because that's the way they do it in rural Mexico. But this is America. What the heck were these thugs doing here? Now they're charged with murder.
What should be the response of the state now? More easy to get driver's licenses? More hiring halls? A little sumptin sumptin from welfare? Why do we bend over backwards to help illegal aliens. And how must this make LEGAL citizens from Mexico feel?
From the Zero:

Two cousins are behind bars, charged with aggravated murder in the strangling of 15-year-old Dani Countryman, who was found dead late last month as others slept nearby in a Milwaukie apartment.

Authorities revealed few details of what led to the arrests, and much about the case -- including a possible motive -- remains a mystery.

Detective Jim Strovink of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office released terse descriptions of the suspects:

Alejandro Emeterio "Alex" Rivera Gamboa, 24, has been in the county jail since his arrest at the scene the day her body was found, held on a probation violation warrant for driving under the influence.

Gilberto Javier "Gabe" Rivera Gamboa, 23, a landscaper, was arrested Monday afternoon as he returned home to the Balboa Apartments on Southeast Courtney in Milwaukie, the complex where Countryman was slain July 28.

How much more of this must we hear of before we the people demand Illegals be deported.

Nationwide we keep hearing of heinous crimes committed by Illegals, who are already in violation of our laws. I don't care if most of them are honest or not, many of them obviously aren't!

Democrat, Republican, Liberal, Conservative, no matter what, we need to stand together and demand these people who thumb their noses at our laws be deported.

Herbert Hoover get them deported. Dwight Eisenhower got them deported. Why can't Bush, Pelosi, Reid, Potter, Pollard and the rest of the politicans start looking out for the American Citizens first?

And to think, if these two cabronazos make it back into Mexico, we cannot touch them.

Lew Waters said...

Really sick cousins. Sick in the sense of they are lower than low. From Today's Oregonlive.com,

"Alejandro Rivera Gamboa told investigators that he [was] sleeping on his cousin's couch that morning after a party when he was awakened by the sounds of Dani struggling beneath Gilberto Rivera Gamboa, who was on top of her on the floor of his apartment, both with their pants down. Gilberto Rivera Gamboa asked for help, and Alejandro Rivera Gamboa told investigators responded by holding Dani down with his foot on her upper chest and throat until she stopped moving, according to the document."

He hears a young girl struggling while being raped by his cousin, and gets up to help the cousin? In so doing, he murders a young 15 year old?

When do Americans get mad enough to demand our laws be enforced?

I heard on Lars today that one of these guys has an Oregon drivers license (courtesy of Teddy the K). Any one want to bet that this guy, and maybe both of them, are registered voters courtesy of Guillermo Bradbury? And they are both under an ICE hold. Anyone want to bet how long it will take Teddy the K to try to get them off that? Maybe Tommy the "Mayor" will chime in on this, too.

coboble said...

Maybe other immigrants from Mexico (legal and/or Illegal) will beat the crap out of these guys, and then kill them. It probably has caused an outrage with in the illegal community because this type of behavior makes the whole group look bad (well at least in the eyes of those who like to judge whole groups based on the behavior of a few within the group).
And others will use the behavior to judge an even bigger group, perhaps all people of Mexican Descent.

Do we really know that a disproportionate number of crimes are committed by illegals? I read that these statistics are not even kept.
When compared to citizens in the same economic group, is it still disproportionate?

Ed in portland said...

So WHO should REALLY be named in the Lawsuits? Maybe those who made the decisions that "Entice, encourage or facilitate" their Illegal presence among us citizens.

Lew Waters said...

Coboble, did you read the actual post Victoria wrote? "Remember when the Mexican consul called for understanding because it was normal for 20-something men to go after younger girls because that's the way they do it in rural Mexico."

Now, compare that statement to the account given by one of he cousins as to what happened, "Alejandro Rivera Gamboa told investigators that he [was] sleeping on his cousin's couch that morning after a party when he was awakened by the sounds of Dani struggling beneath Gilberto Rivera Gamboa, who was on top of her on the floor of his apartment, both with their pants down. Gilberto Rivera Gamboa asked for help, and Alejandro Rivera Gamboa told investigators responded by holding Dani down with his foot on her upper chest and throat until she stopped moving, according to the document."

In rural third world countries, women are lower than dogs. They are just meat for the pleasure of whatever male grabs them. Illegals, having no real desire to assimilate, bring that attitude with them, in treatment of women, in learning and obeying our laws, and in most every aspect of their lives, they retain their rural third world country attitude.

As for thinking other Illegals would probably beat the crap out of these guys, don't hold your breath. Illegal Aliens Kill More Americans Than Iraq War

Where is the outrage?

Scottiebill said...

Ed: You could start with naming Teddy the K, Tommy the "Mayor", Guillermo Bradbury, Fake governor Gregoire, all the libs in the US House who were in on that voting fiasco last week, to name just a few.

As far as Lew's comments at 21:30, just go to any of the border towns on the Mexican side, Nuevo Laredo, Juarez, Tiajuana, and others, and check out the Boys Towns in each of these places. If your eyes aren't opened with just one visit, then they never will be. But try not to enjoy yourselves too much.

coboble said...

Yea Lew,
I read it.

Of course I don't condone the behavior of those who would rape.
I don't condone the attitude of the Mexican Consul.
And I don't condone the using of single incidents to ask for actions against large groups.

I bet if I looked, I could find cases of Illegal Immigrants coming to the rescue of individuals as well.
Then I could argue that if we enforced our immigration laws a particular individual would not have been saved.

And despite the fact that the blog host believes (and to quote her from her radio show, which I recorded) "They are not willing to bleed and die for our country like we are"; Some in fact are doing just that.
So Yes, I admit to expecting to see a level of bias in the posts here, that may effect my interpretation of what I read. I used to think I was open minded, but am learning that I am just as biased as most.

I believe it is selfish to not allow others to migrate here, and share in what we have.
I am no longer certain I am capable of changing this view, no matter how much data I am presented with.
At most, I might be capable of accepting that it is ok to be selfish in some cases (especially when my own self interest is enough at risk.)

Your most recent argument actually strengthens my current view. If the life of a female is really that bad in Mexico, then it is even more difficult for me to be in favor of deporting the illegal immigrants. It becomes more difficult for me to be selfish, when I see the negative effects on others, of my selfishness.

Victoria Taft said...

They were day laborers.

Lew Waters said...

Coboble, sorry, but this isn't just a single incident, it is just the latest. Even if they aren't murderers or rapists, they are still in violation of standing law and know it.

I can appreciate you not favoring returning illegals to Mexico if the women will be mistreated there, but what you fail to see is that they are mistreated here along with our own citizens.

While I haven't seen you advocate it, I'm struck by the irony of how we shouldn't send illegals back to Mexico, yet many are demanding we abandon Iraq and let them work things out for themselves.

Maybe we should send the Mexicans here illegally back and tell them to work things out for themselves.

Like I said earlier, if they expended half the energy they use to get here illegally and remain, they should be able to clean up their own government and enrich their own country. They have the natural resources, if they would use them.

In the meantime, how many more Dani's will be necessary?

coboble said...

Lew
You are more likely to convince me that we should stay in Iraq, with your argument, than you are to convince me we should deport the illegal aliens.

Lew Waters said...

Coboble, please look at the words you wrote. If, as you say, they are "ILLEGAL Aliens," by what right do they have to be here and to benefit from violating the law?

If those laws do not need to be followed, what other laws to these lawbreakers feel compelled to follow?

Now, if we were streamlining immigration somewhat, make it simpler to immigrate, maybe I'd be more lenient in my attitude. But, until we do that, laws should be followed.

Besides our laws should be upheld, consider the following,

Maybe it's time we protest THEM for a change! Maybe there should be a large group of people that shows up at the next city meeting and stands to demand things change and if Tommy calls for order or whatever (if he can stay awake that long) let's all recite the Pledge! We need to take a stand and make these people remember it is We, The People they represent, not illegals.

Lew,
With me it is that I feel I didn't do anything special to have gained the rights this country gives me; which is why I feel it is selfish for me to want to keep others out so I can have more of it for myself.

Yes, I used the word "Illegal".
I don't deny that crossing the border is "Illegal".
It is a misdemeanor.

Kodiak, if one illegal alien commits a crime, against me or someone I love, I hope that I will not hold that against the whole group, but only that individual.

The problem with this particular discussion is, that it started out by hitting one of my main anger points (I have a few related to this issue); which means I was already thinking emotionally more than logically, before I typed anything.
But then the whole point of this type of post, was to trigger emotion more than logic.

Lew Waters said...

Coboble, at times, emotion and logic must come together to correct a problem. I feel this is one of those times.

This particular incident isn't the only one of its kind. It just hit closer to home.

As for illegal entry itself, it is is actually a 'civil offense,' currently. Still, it is an offense and one that should be dealt with, not just ignored.

Not all illegals that end up committing crimes are Mexican, either. Recall recently the young girl that was kidnapped and murdered near Seattle. As I recall, he was an illegal Thai who had ran afoul of the law and was a convicted sex offender still freely living in the area. 12 year old Zina Linnik paid for that too.

Something must be done to protect our citizens. Just think, if these two somehow made it back to Mexico, they would not be extradited back here for trial until Oregon guaranteed they would not face the death penalty. Mexico is sympathetic to their citizens that come here and murder, but where is their sympathy for those who they murder?

Still, they are in violation of our laws and if we are not to enforce those laws, why all the outcries of Bush wanting a North American Union?

Doesn't make sense to me. Those that desire immigration laws be ignored should logically be supporting this North American Union (if it is actually true), shouldn't they?

As for sgt redwater, looks like another assumed name from Beaverton. Must be bored to be out of school on summer break.

Kodiak said...

coboble,

Whta you are missing is that by coming here illegally they are harming you. By coming here they are devaluing your birthright as a citizen. They devalue and insult those who legally immigrated here and waited in line to come. There is no way criminals and gang members can be screened out because of the illegal immigration. We then end up with crimes committed against citizens by illegal aliens and wonder how was that allowed to happen.

Individuals should always be held accountable for their bad actions. However, lets not forget that thou other illegals are not commiting crimes against individuals they have commited a crime against all of us and should be held accountable for that action.

Add to the growing list of major crimes committed by Illegal Immigrants this Illegal Pervuian now accused of murdering 3 College Student, "execution-Style," in New Jersey, who was previously charged with raping a 5-year-old and then threatening the child and parents and was earlier arrested on assault charges stemming from a bar fight.

Most distressing is Immigration officials apparently were aware of his illegal status since his prior arrests.

cnskate said...

So, who is hiring these illegals and which political candidates or parties do they support? Any guesses? I would rather support candidates that can prove the contributors of their re-election campaigns are not hiring ANY illegal aliens. This industry of using these people is the root cause of the people coming into the country. If people were coming here to work legitamate jobs, they would apply for citizenship. And is anyone aware if the day labor camps also help people with the application process to get documented citizenship? I think that is a part of it. What is everyones view on people coming (sneaking) into the country and then given a free break. I dont support it. But man Capitalism is what it is, Cheap labor means more profit. Profit for the company is what Capitalism is run on. I mean, how many people were sneaking into Russia in the Red era? And how many people were sneaking into China before they participated in the free markets.

Lew Waters said...

cnskate, this isn't really a Democrat or Republican issue. Too many from both party's are and have been turning a blind eye to it for too long.

For far too long our Politicans have given us lip service over the problem for the most part.

That I know of Duncan Hunter has been the most consistent candidate currently running in opposing illegal immigration and acting against it.

Scottie, I have sitemeter on my blog that automatically logs every hit to it, including location and isp. Let's just say that recently several lefty's from here commented on my blog. Funny that so many of them share an isp and live in Beaverton and signed up last month with no profile shown. ;-)
