Just because their opposition to the war is political in nature and has nothing to do with national security, doesn't mean you attribute Lindsay Graham's comments to politics. Obviously, after reading the polls Graham's comments are clearly less "political" in nature. Webb's been outed as a cheap shot artist and a phony.

I saw Meet The Press and was very happy with Jim Webb and his manhandling of Graham.
Graham is nothing more than an apologist for the disaster in Iraq. Jim Webb knows the militry inside out and is a true hero.
The people of Virginia should be very proud of their Senator.
I didn't see "Meet the Depressed" (and never will) but was very un- happy with Little Jimmy Webb.

The People of Virginia should realize that they made a mistake last November and should Re-elect
Sen. George Allen.

Sen. Webb got his point across even though Russert let Lindsay Graham filabuster, as he was obviously trying to keep Webb from talking, saying the same thing over and over again as Webb alluded to after one of Graham's tirades. It even looked like once that he felt like punching Graham when he kept going on and on. Lindsay Graham was successful in one thing however, proving that the politicians who still support Bush on this war don't have much left to say.
Jim Webb revealed himself in that exchange to be the calculated yet callow human being we were warned about. I was surprised. I expected there to be a big more class. "Lindsay's having a tough week?"
It was a non sequitur.
Webb simply did not know who he was dealing with. Doesn't he know that Graham was in Iraq in April and bought “five rugs for five bucks” in a Baghdad marketplace. He is an expert on progress in Iraq.
Wonder if it was part of the rug chain where Nancy Pelosi picked out her rug while visiting Hamas.

Amazing how only ex-military that joins the liberal/socialist/progressive/communist agenda are considered "war heroes."
Maybe that is why Democrats in the last two presidential eelctions, worked so hard at denying the military's absentee ballots be counted.

Thank you for speaking out for the soldiers on Meet the Press. I wish there were more articulate and forceful Democrats speaking out on the Iraq quagmire that President Bush has foolishly embroiled us in. It was heartwarming to watch you close and pass Allen last year, and if you ever elect to run for president, you have my vote.

Right you are Lew, except in Vitter's case there is one small problem.....solicitation of a prostitute in Washington D.C. is a crime.

Do not be too hard on Republican Senator Vitter Kloin. He has a history of this conduct in New Orleans. I do not know what the law is there but it may be legal and he just go confused.
