3. A 1997 IIS document lists a number of meetings between Iraq, bin Laden and other al Qaeda associates.
4. A 1998 IIS document reveals that a representative of bin Laden visited Baghdad in March 1998 to meet with Saddam's regime.
5. Numerous IIS documents demonstrate that Saddam had made plans for a terrorist-style insurgency and coordinated the influx of foreign terrorists into Iraq.

If no connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda, why was Richard Clarke worried about Bin laden going to Iraq? Several mention in the 9/11 Report claim ties, although not to 9/11 itself.
As for Levin and several other Democrats, what price power that they are willing to sell out their country to get it?
I'm still waiting for Queen Pelosi to "double the Special Forces" as promised in her campaigning. Their shenanigans discourage Military Enlistments, maybe why it is Democrats that keep suggesting a Draft.

There is no price that the democrats are unwilling to pay for power particularily power that they believe belongs to them.
Newsflash: Harry Reid has made offical the War is Lost, new at 11.
Kodiak, not only has Reid decalred the war lost, the Democrats are dragging their feet on the war funding. Slow bleed no matter what and our troops are beginning to do without needed equipment in battle.
They embolden our enemies and keep equipment from our troops, after complaining they didn't get what they should have.

I would say the majority of the deaths of our troops can be laid at the feet of the democrats and their big mouths and their drive to regain power. They believe that the power belongs to them and Bush stole it.
The demos think everyone will blame Bush instead of them. In fact their allies in MSM are probably waiting to run the campain to blame Bush.
Some those nuts believe they can impeach Bush and Cheney together. I guess lacking any actual proof of offenses as outlined in the Constitution won't stop them from trying. The house may impeach but will the Senate convict? I don't think so. I know sure democratic votes against conviction ... Hillary, Obama and Lieberman. Hillary and Obama worst nightmares is the following 2 words ... President Pelosi.
