The seven Republicans who voted yesterday to advance the measure were Sens. Norm Coleman of Minnesota, Susan Collins of Maine, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, Gordon H. Smith of Oregon, Olympia J. Snowe of Maine, Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and John W. Warner of Virginia. Sen. Bernard Sanders [a socialist], Vermont independent, also voted with the Democrats.

What else could we expect from this bunch? They are the poster children for the RINOs. During their next reelection periods, they should re-register themselves as Democrats in order to show their consitiuents their true leanings so as to not mislead the voters any more than they already have, at least as far as their party affiliation goes.
But they won't. Misleading the voters is what most politicians do best.
