That was a pretty good show.
You came up with a really good idea, Portland should use your tax dollars by the homeless laptop computers to go with the free Why-Fi.
It really is a good idea.
The homeless can use the laptop computers to create and post on line resumes, do job searches, and even interview via the internet (no bath required).
When you give the Portland government your idea, can you suggest that they buy Compaq or HP computers.
I am adopting a "if it benefits me it is a good idea" philosophy. If I work at it, I might even convince myself that what is good for me is also the best thing for everyone else.

pssst...Coboble, they get free access thanks to the taxpayers at the library; you know, where sickos watch porn.
I was mostly kidding (although I could be convinced).
I don't want someone who has not bathed nor do I want someone watching porn, in the same area of the Library I am using. But now I am feeling like I am just as closed minded and intolerant as those I often criticize.
One (of the very few) issues you and I are in agreement on, is filters in the Library. (We have the same issue in Corvallis).
I could get into a serious rant about how the porn industry pushes their product on everyone (not just those seeking it).
It would be interesting to know, how those who want the unregulated pure capitalism model, with no requirement to consider and/or pay for externalities; feel about the Porn industries right to set up where ever they can get someone to sell (or rent) them property.
Of course I am for keeping the Porn industry out of certain areas, but I am for the requirement to consider and pay for externalities model for other industries as well.
(See how we get off subject, we are on one subject, something correlated comes up, and then something correlated to a piece of that comes up etc ...
Does this bother you a lot? )
The "Taxpayer Academy Awards Show"
should be Broadcast from the Capitol Steps in Salem at least once a month.
