Rinowatch has it here. Did you really think John Lindback, Bill Bradbury and company would take off a candidate who could siphon votes from the REPUBLICAN candidate? Kelly Clark may still choose to pursue this as a lawsuit after the going to the state gambit failed to pay off.

Wonderful news for ..................Kulongoski. You can always count on Oregon conservatives to shoot themselves in the foot.
Good thing I'm a transplanted Washingtonian, huh? ;)
Kulongoski will be a one term Socialist
Governor. Ba-Bye-Teddddddddy
It's always comforting to know that klatu can foretell the future. His track record is impeccable.
Teddy the Napper's loyal servant and resident toady, Billy Bradbury, is ignoring the law again for his Lord and Master, Teddy the K.
It seems to me that these two should be investigated and indicted for malfeasance of office, if not more offenses against the people of Oregon.
Maybe the women of Marblehead had the right idea as laid out in the old poem. "Tarred and feathered and carried in a cart by the women of Marblehead."
Too bad these women weren't living in Oregon today. Teddy and Billy surely would be prime candidates for their little tar and feathers party.
Hey, fuzzi: The Conservatives did not shoot themselves in the foot in this fiasco. Billy Bradbury, Teddy the K's Loyal and Obedient Toady did the shooting here.
It seems to me that the interests of the Oregon electorate are more important in this situation than the interests of any particular political clique. Allowing Mary Starett to remain on the ballot gives the voters of Oregon more choices. Focusing on the voters' intersts, what is wrong with that?
