Face of a Murderer?

"I was with JonBenet when she died," he told reporters in Bangkok. "I loved JonBenet."

John Mark Karr, 41. A kiddie porn addicted teacher.

Karr told The Associated Press he wrote Patsy Ramsey before she died to express his remorse.

"I conveyed to her many things, among them that I am so very sorry for what happened to JonBenet," he told the AP, which described him as sweating and stuttering. (Read the interview with Karr)

"Karr's ex-wife, Lara Karr, told KGO-TV in California that she was with her former husband in Alabama at the time of JonBenet's killing and she does not believe her former husband was involved in the homicide.

She said her ex-husband spent a lot of time studying the cases of Ramsey and Polly Klaas, who was abducted from her Petaluma, Calif., home and slain in 1993." ABC News story.

Why did he go to Thailand?
He was teaching school in Thailand?
Is he lying about killing her?

From the day her body was discovered, this has been a very strange case. Now, they have arrested this guy, he denies it, he admits it, supposedly, DNA links him to it, but how could they do that so fast?

Last night, Police said he knew facts about the case never released to the public. Tonight, so called experts are casting doubts on his confession. Some already calling it a hoax.

But, to me, the epitomy of crassness related to this case and something I would never expect to see coming form any of the liberals I spar with here, was some of the more radical liberals elsewhere tying this arrest to Bush and his creating a diversion.

In the meantime, a beautiful little girl has been dead for 10 years, her mother died recently and a family has been almost destroyed by idle speculation about who killed the little girl.

I guess only time will tell what comes of this. I'm sure the tabloids will continue having a field day with this, at the expense of the family.

All the waya round, a very sad story.

Klatu, The way this guy is admitting that he killed her, then denying it makes one wonder if John Kerry isn't coaching him.

Seriously, though, you are right on all counts

[the day after Colorado authorities dropped all lans to charge Karr with the JonBenet Ramsey murder]
Bush? Kerry? I do not know how either of these men could be rationally linked to this bizarre case.

Notably, when Karr first surfaced, there were many mea culpa over past accusations of the Ramseys and others in the case, tucked amid even more shrill cries of outrage that this man is a child pornographer, pedaphila, rapist, and mainly murderer murderer murderer. Now, after what the governor of Colorado has called the most expensive DNA test in Colorado history, those who again cried wolf must again slink into the darkness, tails between their legs.

My view is this: Jonbenet Ramsey was exploited during her brief life, and has been exploited for ten years since her death.

When this story broke, there were loud mea culpas from many news people who had accused the Ramsey parents of this crime. Now that another theory that so titillated the media has gone down in flames,
THE SILENCE IS DEFEANING!
