Here's Daniel of Daniel is Right Blog whose personal crusade it is to get rid of Oregon spending our hard earned tax dollars on person who are here illegal.
Here's what Daniel had to say about his new buddy:
The person on the right is me, the person on the left is Benjamin*. That thing in Benjamin's hand? A Matricula Consular Card, a sham ID that is accepted by the Oregon DMV so that illegal aliens can get drivers licenses.
Why does this matter? Because the drivers license is the number one form of ID we use and we are outsourcing it's integrity and security to Mexico. We can't verify the authenticity of the Matricula card, we simply take it at face value regardless how stingent or lax the standard is to get one of these cards.

Now I know what your thinking: Daniel, why are you harrassing those poor undocumented immigrants, they just come here to do jobs that American's won't do. I know, it's with those jobs that they can afford cars like this one above.
Great job, Daniel. Putting the lie to the rip off that is done once a month to sign up illegal aliens for state services. Doesn't make a heckuva lot of sense, does it.

He also notes (with pic):
"There you have Ron and I. Ron was willing to talk to me (in broken English) and answer my questions. In a genuine effort to help I suggested that he try a Temp agency for work. He shook his head and told me that then he would have to pay taxes! Imagine the indignity of paying taxes. I had to agree with Ron that the notion was absurd."
He made it clear that, while he'd tried working through a temp agency, they're no good - they pay only minimum wage, and they take taxes out of your pay. Working day labor, he makes more money, and it's all cash. Often, the employer even provides lunch. As to the kind of work he usually does, well, it runs the gamut: he can dig ditches, do cement work, framing, roofing, siding - you know, all those jobs that American's won't do.
Make sure you check out Jay's post at Max Redline!
Our goal here is two-fold:
To let the Mexican consulate and our state agencies know that they can't have one of these without us being there;
To generate publicity. Information is our best friend on this issue, the more people hear about it the more outraged they become.
Max Redline, You're a scream. Love the icon. Takes me back.

Can you give me your blog address? I'd love to track you down. When my blog is put back in order, I'll have my blogger honor roll going again, but the computer weevils just jettisoned those sometime back for some inexplicable reason.
Just click on my name, then click on the blog, Victoria.
As Daniel noted, this is all about letting the Consulate and state agencies know that we are watching and informing others. Politely, of course.
Not going to yell at people, toss acid on windows, block traffic, and all the other lovely stuff that seems to go on whenever Lefties hear that a Republican's in town.
That was the amusing thing in Cornelius - the police kept cruising by in marked and unmarked vehicles, and everything was just cool and calm. In fact, an officer did stop once, to ask the Day workers to step out of the street and back onto the sidewalk. Wish I'd got a photo of that.
Our so called elected leadership have sworn an oath to uphold the laws of this state and country. To allow these activities to occur with assistance of state employees has to be violating some law out there. Maybe a bright light bulb can see which one and how to proceed.
