Oregon's Newspaper of Record goes "literary"

Hate to expose myself as a total oaf, but can someone out there explain this piece in the opinion section of the Oregonian today? What's the literary allusion or example? Anyone?

Victoria,

Noboby on this earth can explain the writings of Caldwell, Attig, Sarasohn, et al.

Only David Reinhard is consistently COHERENT & I'll bet he rarely writes the editorial (how 'bout never).

Don't waste your time with these Bozo's.

This is actually what most of the gobblede gook in the Oregonian sounds like to me anyway. Most days when I read it, I end up scratching my head and thinking that they must be kidding. Sadly, they aren't.

The solution is to simply stop reading The Oregonian and use it immediatelywhat it's best for: lining the cat litter box.
