Oregon Trail Teachers: A couple of Questions for You.

A small district in Washington State has voted to decertify their union. This is the organization they looked to for help: Northwest Professional Educators.
When union thugs follow the superintendent to the beach; when union thugs intimidate the school board members driving to work by mobbing their car and hitting it with signs and fists, you're left with the question: Are these the people you want representing you as a professional?
I can guarantee you the parents in that district are asking themselves this question: Do I want that thug in the classroom with my 6 year old?

Victoria, this is one of the reasons I homeschool. Most of the time it's great fun but I admit that sometimes I feel like going on strike. But since I have the best interests of my students in mind, we carry on.

Well we know how this is going to turn out.
The teachers will get all that thay want , we'll have to pay for the time that thay took off .

Remind me why we have school boards ?
If we gave control of the schools to them . At least then we could place the blame on thier shoulders for poorly run schools , buget overruns, and children who can't read past a 5th grade.

The teachers should be embarassed. They want more for themselves, and they don't care what it costs the kids in their quality of education and how it breaks the backs of the taxpayers.

Oregon has the most entitlement oriented public sector that I have ever seen. How do we stop the madness?
