Scooter's in Deep Doo Doo

Get your indictment right here.
Once again these guys find out the hard way that it's not the crime, or in this case no crime, but it's the coverup. See Byron York's piece here.

Joe Wilson is the nightwatchman who found the tape on the door. This is much larger than outing Valerie Plame. The indictment allows the prosecutors to have subpeona power of white house records that may lead to answering the real question. Did this administration deliberately mislead the American public in declaring war on Iraq?

Jow Wilson's attorney was just on TV reading a statement by his client. The statement's main point is that Joe and Valerie are 'private' people. A box next to the attorney has that famous Vanity Fair picture of the 'spy couple' driving their convertable, lending a new meaning to covert.

As the left breathlessly awaits for this to turn into Watergate yjey once again leave the serious business of running the country to their opponents. Waiting for Iraq to become Vietnam, and Valerie Plame to morph into Watergate isn't a strategy. Hope never is.

"Shoeless" Joe Wilson lied to the U.S. Senate but apparently that's OK?

I can't quite understand why someone who has signed the docs (indicating he'll keep secrets A SECRET) will then sit down with countless reporters and, well, discuss things that are right on the fence as to whether they are SECRET or not. Loose Lips Sink Ships.

Perhaps LIBBY might be a poster-child, and perhaps this might lead to bigger things to uncover. But still, it sure seems like these lips needed to be shut in the beginning.

Anyone know if Russert sat down with this Grand Jury?

Isn't this all just payback for clinton and part of the campaign to regain power? Just like the election for governor debacle in Washington state?

Russert sat down with the grand jury for, in his words, about 20 minutes in an attorney's office in DC. He described a conversation he had with Libby which consisted of a general complaint Libby had as a viewer about something unrelated in some broadcast. They talked nothing about VP or JW. Big discrepancy in their stories. Still could be a matter of confusing people and conversations though.

Send Libby to Guantanamo and torture him until he gives up the information the prosecutor wants.
